1.4 (Exercise 1, Day 4)
Not exactly exercise 1 but I had to know, tomorrow I'll try taking it back up to Vrischikasana from here, had to stop as i was eating into my pranayama time.
PS. if your going to try the above approach then you need a couple of trial runs jumping to the wall then lowering yourself to the bech to get the right distance. First time I dropped i was a little to close to the wall and banged my knees slightly. Brought my hands out a few inches and it was fine.

Nice!
I finallly got around to seeing the video, David and Joy did a great job there... now I cannot wait to start from the beginning, methinks first I need to videotape and see if I can touch chest to wall.... to go in order the other day I was just playing around and completely ignored the fact that you had actually started there, in the beginning... oh well...
Nice control on the headstand... coming along little by little... I think the hardest part is making the upper back horizontal -like he says- rather than vertical... kind of like in that famous picture of Kino... this has got to be the most exciting pose ever
It's hard, going step by step, want to rush ahead, did a bit today and really wanted to drop to the floor, was 'up for it'. Bit more work on controlling the handstand, the more controlled and lower you can bring the feet the less drop. Going to bring back my half handstand kino jump thorough next week if i can get the timing right with the led, get my strength and control back up.
It's starting to feel doable though, as long as you drop into a tight enough UD then one should be able to hop up enough to get the shoulders over the hands and then voila.
Yeah right....in theory.
This is reminding me of my old 14 day Karandavasana project, having fun here.
Handstand can be a LOT better still quite nervous and unsure of this which is throwing my handstand out.
It's stupid you, see kids doing this everyday at the beach.
I used to be one of those kids in the beach.... :-(
