While I'm in a commenting mood - I came across this version of the same piece last week. Worth the lecture and technicalities up front to get to understand how difficult this is. I think the theramin must be the most yogic of instruments. Just your body and the space around it.

Still not sure how i feel about the theremin, one moment I want one the next..... I like the idea of sound possibilities all around us but then I hear someone play Somewhere over the rainbow and it seems still ...gimiky. be curious to have one on the mat while you do your practice on and around it.

Mike, you're not the only one! Theremin player Pamelia Kurstin describes it as a "kind of like a yoga instrument because it makes you so aware of every crazy little thing your body is doing" at thirteen minutes in on this TED talk. Rachel
