Love it!
Here's an option: Criminally.
Oh, and: Crankily.
And best of all: Humorously.
How could I forget criminally, thank you Karen. Playfully, is another one that comes to mind that I should have included. And perhaps, sadly, I should have also included bitterly and jealously.
Every moment is different and new every day. I have not yet had 2 similar practices. This is what makes it so exciting. So far I was not bored.......
hi Grimmly
you know, your post is really profound, because it's a list of everything we've experienced in our yoga journey. my answers today, which would not be my answers a year ago, would be: 35,38,44,50.
cheers,
Arturo
how about: "during your baby's nap?" ;-)
how true ursula.
I kind of like the list, tempted to stick it permanently on the blog somewhere, maybe down the bottom then we can refer to our practice in code occasionally
What would it have been a year ago Arturo? Oh and I downloaded a metronome to my ipod going to give that a try.
How long do babies nap? i know nothing.
How long do babies nap?
Generally not long enough.
How about "In front of the Television"? Or "In the Kitchen While The Kids Do Homework at the Table"?
Starting to realize how spoiled I am being able to practice undisturbed. Amazing how you mums manage to squeeze your practice around raising your kids.
My kid naps for between 2 and 3 hours. It's actually not so hard to fit practice in if you don't work full time as a parent, but you also have to be willing to let other things take a backseat (For instance: I'm a less than perfect housekeeper...).
One day I'll have the discipline to get up at 5 am to practice. But until then, naptime it is.
Thanks for the list. It's got my wheels turning.
hi Grimmly
a year ago my answers would have been 17,18,31,39,42.
cheers,
Arturo
I love how you manage to engage so many with your posts!
May I add with earplugs a la John Scott? To stay attuned to the breath and not to drown out the loud, deafening Ujayi ;-)
GREAT post..... goes to show how much it all depends on the day/season/mood/environment ... i could say #50 describes it best for me!!
Hah! What fun. #30, #50 for me right now thanks to a chronic illness, but many other permutations in the past. Have been guilty of #47, too
"12. As foreplay for Savasana"
Never said better!
