Dropping back and Coming up, best so far and comparing before and after

OK, last one of these for a while, promise.

But finally a nice one.

NO Air punching,
NO Yippie-ki-yay ing,
NO collapsing,
NO swaying about all over the place
NO running back and forth over the mat

Below are two videos in slow motion the first one is from 24Th of February before I came up but one of my best attempts. The second one is the one above in slow motion. Thought it would be interesting to see them together and try to work out what made the difference. It's still happening too fast for me to be that aware of what I'm doing. My feeling at the moment is that it's pretty much just confidence and improved coordination but take a look.

Legs really straight before you drop; that's fabulous. I'm completely with JS, that looks marvelous. I think you drop-and-stand, sir!

hi, congratulations and sorry for my resonse.. since i was away in your neighbourhood!?
you now do it very smoothly!

i was a bit backwards.. since i haven't done it for a week or so while being away from home, with much less time to practice.
i'll try next week!

Wow, I thought exactly the same as Patrick (cue fanfare) - you are officially a member of the drop-and-stand club!

I think the improvement has been all about strengthening the connection through the legs. There's no other way to put it than finding that 'connection'. What I'd do next is try to keep your feet more grounded...
